Hi.  My name is Tigger.  Officially I'm known as Tigger Too.   I'm a Red McTabby Household Pet.

A Little About Me:  I was adopted from the Humane Sociaty of Tampa, Florida.  I was only 9 months old when I'd been turned in by my previous owners.  I managed to get the attention of my new owner by patting her shoulder whenever she was within reach in the kitty room.  Guess what?  It worked!  Here I am to stay.......

I came to my new home and made myself ccomfortable, but I wanted a playmate.  At that time there was only myself and an older black female here, who wanted nothing to do with me.  So, mommy adopted my "partner in crime," Twinkie.  You can see her on her web-page.  I quickly took up the job of raising her.  I personally saw to it she was cleaned daily and played with whenever she wanted....but always in a gentle manner.  I can be a good daddy, but will have to do so with adoptive kitties.

I was shown in UFO as a household pet for two years.  You will see my awards listed below.  I was also shown in ACFA and AACE shows.  I am presently retired from showing and enjoying the good life.

My Achievements:

ACFA Title:  Royal

UFO Title:  Platinum Imperial

AACE Title:  Quad Regal

3rd best Household Pet in the Southern Region (UFO 1998-1999)

10th Best Household Pet in the Nation (UFO 1998-1999)

6th Best Household Pet in the Southern Region (UFO 1999-2000)

11th Best Household Pet in the Nation (UFO 1999-2000)

6th Best Household Pet in the Nation (AACE 2000-2001)

BEST Household Pet - South Atlantic Region (AACE 2000-2001)

My latest interests:  I just love the outdoors.  Not so much the fresh air and sunshine, as much as the GRASS!  I'm really a vegetarian at heart.  I just love to munch on any type of grass that is edible.  I do tend to keep everyone on watch when the doors open because I will bolt out that door quicker than you think.  But, I don't go far....only to the nearest blade of grass!  My mom here helps me get my grass along with something called "exercise?", by taking me for walks around my neighborhood.  Yes, I have no problem walking on a leash.  It's a great way to get out and about.  Otherwise, I spend my time playing with my best buddy, Twinkie.

Our dearest Tigger left us in April of 2006.  He has left a big gap in our home here.  He was the oldest male and the "king" of the household.  A sweet & gentle boy, always loving to everyone and welcoming to each newcomer.  Even though he ruled the house - he made peace and never fought.  He was indeed a gentle spirit who watched over everything.  As a "Humane Society" adoptee - he had been an outdoor kitty before we had him - so he still loved outdoor jaunts - though now on a lease or supervised within the fenced backyard.  He loved his grass!  We will forever miss your sweet pawprint our dear Tigger.  You truly 'selected' your mommie when you patted me on the shoulder at the shelter when I almost passed you by, as I was "just looking" - LOL.

We did amazing things together and I know you have wonderful stories to tell at the Rainbow bridge.  We will never forget the true wonder and amazement in your eyes at the Grand Canyon - it had to be one of your favorite trips.  We shall never forget your eyes being glued to the windows at every pullover stop and how you were just enthrawled when we carried you to each stop and let you gaze at the site!

We love you and will miss you dear Tig.  May you be in peace until we can be together again.
